Urgent Announcements: 1. We would like to inform you that within the framework of the project “Restoration of the ancient road network and visitor circulation paths with provisions for people with disabilities and peaple with reduced mobility, and the creation of new stopping and viewing areas within the archaeological sites of the Ancient Agora and Kerameikos” included in the RRF "SUB 1: Improvement of accessibility infrastructure at the archaeological sites and Museums of the Ancient Agora of Athens and Kerameikos" (MIS 5200538), works will be carried out at the entrance of the Stoa of Attalos on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. For the safety of the visitors the archaeological site will remain closed to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m., until the works are completed and Stoa of Attalos becomes accessible. 2. The Site will be closed on the 1st.02.2026. From November 1, 2025, the exhibition on the floor of the Stoa of Attalos and the Church of the Holy Apostles will remain closed to the public. Please be informed daily on the official Ministry's official Site (odysseus.culture.gr).

  Amenities for the physically challenged
The accessibility for people with special needs is
through the entrance at Adrianou str. (and
through the entrance at Apostolou Pavlou str., Theiseion Square, only upon oral communication, tel. 210 3214825). From November till March the entrance at Theiseion Square remains closed at weekends and on holidays. There is specially designed ramp leading to the Ancient Agora Museum and W.C. for people with special needs.
