Ruined castle on the west side of the road leading from Livadia to Megalo Chorio, built on a low rock. It was a small structure, irregular in shape, and the curtain was furnished with a number of flanking folds. The entrance was a low square gate. It is built in dark local stone and controlled the traffic between the harbour and Megalo Chorio.Within it stands the single-cell church of St. Elias or Stavros amid the foundations of other buildings.
