Byzantine domed church erected in the 11th century by Theologos Markopoulos, on top of the ruins of an Early Christian basilica, whose mosaic pavements are still visible. After repairs in the 18th and 19th centuries, it has been transformed into a three-aisled basilica with a semicircular narthex. On the NW wall survives a 13th century fresco of the Blessed Mary of Egypt by the painter Zosimas.
