The church of the Dormition of the Virgin is located south of the abandoned settlement of Noumpenitsa or Loumpenitsa in village Trifylli, in the southeastern side of the prefecture of Grevena. It is a aisleless timber-roofed basilica near a cemetery. it was built of rough stone. The wall paintings were depicted in 1790. The church was seriously damaged from the earthquake of 1995.
