Figurine of a flute-player

This is a beautiful Archaic figurine of a naked young man playing the flute, preserved intact. He is seated on a rectangular plinth with his feet placed on a low footstool, holding a double flute in front of his chest. The effort of playing the instrument is quite obvious. His cheeks are distended with air as he blows into the flute, and his eyebrows are frowned. There are traces of ink on the flute, the long hair, and the genitals of the young man, while on the reverse there is a semicircular attachment with a suspension hole on both sides.
