Grave stele of a girl from Nea Kallikratia, Chalkidiki. It was made by a Parian sculptor, an artist who was the equal of those who carved the sculptures from the Parthenon frieze. The dead girl wears a Dorian peplos and holds a dove, an iconographic motif known from other funerary stelai of the 5th century B.C. About 440 B.C.
