"Man and Tools: aspects of labour in the pre-industrial world" on 22 Panos street
In a contemporary, accommodating environment these collected objects are presented from a point of view that invites the visitor to explore the narratives behind them, to seek what they might have meant to the person who produced them, and the people who used them in villages and towns, long before mass production.

The Tzisdarakis Mosque
The monument
The mosque of the Monastiraki square was built in 1759 by the Ottoman governor of Athens, Mustafa Aga Tzisdarakis, in the heart of the city’s market area, Kato Pazari, next to the fountain that designated the center of the market. The monument was restored by the architect Anastasios Orlandos in 1915 and the building was given over for museum use in 1918 to the newly founded Museum of Greek Handicraft, now the Museum of Modern Greek Culture.

Main exhibition of the Museum of Modern Greek Culture
The Museum of Modern Greek Culture is located in Monastiraki, in the heart of the historical center of Athens, in the city block surrounded by the streets of Adrianou – Areos – Kladou – Vrysakiou, as well as in the Tzisdarakis Mosque.
The museum is a neighbourhood of modern Athens with buildings dating from the 18th to the 20th century, which along with the museum objects they contain, form a peculiar monumental and cultural landscape in the wider urban plan.

Bath House of the WInds
The Bath House of the winds is the only public bath of Athens surviving at the present days. It dates from the first period of Turkish rule (1453 – 1669) and stands near the Roman forum and the Tower of the Winds. It functioned as a bathhouse until 1956, and is now the property of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
In 1984, the bath-house at Kyrrestou 8 was ceded to the Museum of Greek Folk Art. The study for the restoration of the monument and its adaptation as a museum was completed in 1989-1990, ...

“Istanbul Diaries” Irene Vogiatzi´s painting exhibition at the Bath House of the Winds
The Museum of Modern Greek Culture organizes at the Bath House of the Winds, an Ottoman monument and a space of cultural convergence that encompasses memories and senses of centuries, the exhibition «Istanbul Diaries» with paintings by Irene Vogiatzi.
