  Amenities for the physically challenged
At the entrance and inside the museum there are ramps while in the garden of the Museum are toilets for the disabled persons.
 
  Access
Near the Archaeological Museum of Chania are stations for urban and intercity buses.
Many visitors include a visit to the Archaeological Museum of Chania during their tour in the old town of Chania.
 
  Shop
At the ticket office at the entrance of the museum are sold archaeological guides, books and cards.
In the shop of Archaeological Resources Fund, housed in a small room south of the entrance of the museum, are sold exact copies of ancient artifacts, archaeological books and guides.
