View of the bottom of the axe
Perforated axe

This axe is one of the numerous Neolithic tools that have been discovered in the area of Kozani and prove the existence of habitation in the area during that period. The axe was found intact; its surface is smooth, and only a few parts have been chipped off. There is a circular concave area on one side, a fact that indicates that this is a half-finished perforated axe.
