Urgent Notification:
As we have already announced [Ministry of Culture/Kerameikos/ANNOUNCEMENT/ efaathculture.gr], the Archaeological Site and the Museum of Kerameikos will be closed to the public from Monday 5 May 2025 and for eight months -until the end of this year- for the execution of works to upgrade the infrastructure of the Archaeological Site in the framework of the project of the Ministry of Culture: 'Sub.1 .1.4: Improvement of accessibility infrastructure in the archaeological sites and museums of the Ancient Agora of Athens and Kerameikos", in accordance with the studies approved by the Central Archaeological Council.

We ask for everyone's understanding, as the actions which temporarily cause the dissatisfaction of some visitors, aim at the permanent and overall upgrading of the experience of visiting the country's outstanding cultural heritage monument. |
